An email that got sent to me, i just want to share it.

Hey everyone Martini here, no this isn’t your typical forward email i actually wrote this myself out of annoyance lol.

Don’t think ‘oh it’s to long I’m not reading it’. F$%& you just read it.

I recently got yet ANOTHER, “OMG msn is shutting down quick send this gay email on and your account will stay open” and to be honest it’s getting annoying. It’s lie, you people really that dumb to believe it? read THIS email and you’ll see it’s a load of shit.

So FIRST OFF there’s a couple things I’d just like to say…

Proof Of How Stupid You Are If You Really Believe That Crap.

msn, is NOT shutting down. period, end of story, no facts needed. but for the sake of rejects out there…

1. They’re not running out of account names! If you think they are, are you F$%&ing retarded? Have you actually DONE the math to it? Using ALL possible characters on the keyboard with only a 10 character limit per email address (example. 1234567890@hotmail.com ) it STILL works out that the 6 billion people in the world would need over a million accounts EACH for them to run out. (I’d like to thank Chompers email, for this conclusion and boredom for doing the math on that one) But seriously how many countries in the world don’t even have computers?—a lot. So your personal ‘1 million spair accounts number just got even higher, once again this only with a 10 character limit, so therefore with the limitless eamount of characters you may put in your email address—well basically you’d need A LOT of accounts and mean like billions EACH for them to come anywhere close to running out.

2. I’ve had msn since I was like grade 6 or 7 and over the years I’ve received the little, “omg send this email on to save your account no shit i swear it’s true” bullshit like over 50 times in total, probably more. EACH email says something around ‘587′ account names remain (every now and then some reject changes the number for their own amusement but you get the point). For one, as i said above that number is F$%&ing bullshit. 2nd the number would have run out just over the 6 years I’ve had msn if it was really running out as fast as they say..

3. If msn actually WAS shutting down, they have ways of sending emails to everyone world wide, personally, individually!!! So they wouldn’t send some lame email you have to FWD to keep your account. They send a personal email something along the lines off….. “Dear user of address name1234@hotmail.com, your address has no been in use for a long time, simply click the link below to ensure your account stays open”…. THE END. no FWD bullshit no blue msn guy crap. FULL STOP DAMN IT!

4. And about that “blue msn guy” hmm ever noticed your msn guy didn’t go blue the first time you sent it on to 18 people? (or as some of them say ‘copy paste it don’t click reply or FWD’) Or the second time you sent it on? or the other 30 times for that matter!? Here a little hint, cause it’s a load of shit!

The Site

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/1189119.stm

Ahhhhh yes, the famous site of “zomg look theres a site! See? It’s real holy shit quick send our email on quickly look it’s real i swear”. Yes i’m sure your clicked the little link and read the stupid site once in your life. But did actually take a good look at the site?

Click THIS link and you’ll understand what I’m about to say

http://www.rocketsoft.gm-school.uni.cc/uploads/12%20months%20ay.PNG.PNG

IF IT DOESN’T WORK COPY PASTE ALL IT INTO A NEW INTERNET WINDOW

Circle 1 — Says that it’s gonna happen and you’ll have to pay for it in the next 12 months if you don’t and blah blah blah blah!!!

Circle 2 — The date this little page was written and — omfg look— at that, 2001? … hmmm what the year now days 2008? … but circle one says next 12 months? Omg well OBVIOUSLY they meant 12 years didn’t they cause 7 years later IT’S STILL NOT BEING PAYED FOR! Another word’s it’s a load of shit, and if it WAS real then i don’t care cause they obviously changed there minds people! god how dumb are you to believe that stupid site!

Final Notes

What the F$%& do people who start those “OMG MSN’S SHUTTING DOWN SEND THIS ON” emails actually get outta writing that shit? i mean really..

What I’m trying to say is, stop sending the email on, the 50 emails I’ve collected have never been sent on and I’m not paying for anything am i? and I’m sure your smart enough to tell the difference between the colors blue and green to noticed no on else’s msn guy has become blue yet.

So please, send THIS email on, sent to who ever I don’t care just send the email on.. Maybe if enough people read it they’ll be smart enough to just delete those stupid email’s saying that msn is running out of account names, shutting down or is gonna have to be payed for. Because it’s just F$%&ing annoying getting them.

Cya Thats all i got lol

On my previous blog post about Google Adsense
http://blog.jicola.com/?p=11, after feedback to Google, they’ve decided
to change it so to where the user is not, where the publisher is.

So if your website visitors are located in Japan and/or any countries in
North America and Latin America, you’ll still receive money.

Also, Google Pack price is being reduced by 50%, and Firefox referrals
from china will not be paid.

This is direct from an email i received from google stating this:

“We’d also like to let you know about upcoming changes to the referrals
programs for Google Pack and Firefox:

Google Pack: Currently, you can earn up to $2 when a user downloads and runs Google Pack for the first time after being referred through your link or button. Starting the third week of February, each successful Pack referral will earn up to $1. This change will apply to all referrals for Google Pack and is independent of user location or publisher location.

Firefox: We will also be reducing payments for Firefox referrals from China during the third week of February. This specific referral payment change will only affect installations from users in China. As with referrals to AdSense, this is independent of your location as a publisher.”

So now you have to have two users downloaded Google Pack instead of one, and no money for you for people who downloaded Firefox in China.

My comments: Either Google losing money, or becoming tight

The past couple of days, I have been making some small php scripts.
The first one is called Jicola.com Snitch. I might also call it
Jicola.com Password Snitch. In short, just Snitch. What Snitch does, it
uses a MySQL database and it stores passwords for sites that users
enter. So basically, if you don’t want to register for a site such as
youtube, Jicola.com Password snitch will have a username and password
for you to use.

Also, we have made a search engine using Google’s infrastructure which
/you/ can easily modify. It is a three page script, config, index and
footer. All you have to do is edit the config files. This allows you to
change the logos, font colour, background colour, search results styles.
You have the main page (intro page) which users search from (it’s easily
customised in the config files) then they hit search, and comes up with
search results from Google using your colour scheme.

I’m not going to provide links to these yet as they are going through
testing stages, but ig you like, submit a ticket at
http://suport.jicola.com and I can give you a link

After watching three great matches in the Australian Open watching the
underdog Casey Dellacqua beat 18 Seed Amelie Mauresmo in a outstanding
score 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 and underdog Phillip Kohlschreiber defeat 6 seed And
Roddick in a close 5 set match 4-6, 6-3, 6-7, 7-6, 6-8, finishing at
2:10am, tomorrows night tennis must have to top that. And it did with
Roger Federer close win to Janko Tipsarevic in a 5 set tiebreaker 6-7,
7-6, 5-7, 6-1, 10-8. Last Australian Open, Federer won the final never
losing a set in the tournament.

With Federer’s game going longer then expected, the womens tennis was on
and Venus Williams won in straight sets. Now it was the game we were
waiting 4 hours to see.

Starting late at night, the first set was tit for tat. Lleyton losing
the break at 4 all losing 4-6 in the first set and winning again in the
second set 7-5. In the third set, pain came for Marcos Baghdatis after
spraining his ankle. Hewitt took the advantage and won 7-5 after
Baghdatis had set point. In the forth set, it was an easy victory after
winning six games in a row. Hewitt had two match points at 5-2.The
pressure was on and Hewitt to seal the point but Baghdatis took the lead
and won 7-6.

After Hewitt was had match point at 5-2, we thought the game was over.
5-3, 5-4, 5-5 later, it was being perthetic. Com’on Hewitt, you had that
set. At 3am in the morning i said, “That’s it. I’m not watching this
anymore. Hewitt Should have won by now,” so i turned the TV off and went
to bed.

It’s very disappointing for Hewitt. 5-2 up and losing the set. The
laughter on Baghdatis face after Hewitt making unforced errors was
remarkable. Baghdatis was basically giving Hewitt the set.

So in the morning i woke up to find the final score. After a 4.5 hour
match, Hewitt won winning the fifth set 6-3.

Although Hewitt won, it was a boring and disappointing match. High
Unforced errors, hardly and aces, i should have went to bed at the start
of the forth set. Hewitt just let the other 3 great matches down.
Dellacqua, Kohlschreiber and Federer well done to great matches, a great
tennis games and great victories.

It has come to mind that people want to record audio streams off the
internet. This can be a radio show, music, or a msn or VoIp call.

To do this, I would recommend to use Audacity.
Audacity can record, import music (live or
pre-recorded) and you can edit music, change pitch, add effects and much
more. You can make a track intro longer, fade two songs together and
much more to edit music. It is very useful to record online audio.

All you have to do is setup the audio input and hit record.

Another program i would recommend is Vista’s inbuilt sound recorder. All
this does it record audio, but it is still useful. If you want, you can
edit it with Audacity.

Many people say, how do i download video’s off the internet? Well it’s
simple really if you have the know-how and the programs.

If you don’t have the know-how, usually, you just have to look at the
source code and scroll through there (using the search feature on key
names like .swf, .wmv, .mp3 will also help. Then all you have to do, it
put the URL in a download manager such as “Get Right”, “Fresh Download”
or a Firefox addon.

Youtube video’s are a bit harder. But i use Internet Video Converter.
This nifty piece of software has many more great features. All you have
to do is put in a URL of the page the video is located on, hit
download, select the file you downloaded and convert it to almost any
format you want.

You can also convert different video formats and Flash files to .wmv
and vise versa. It is a really good program to have.

Internet Video Convert can be found at here

This is one of our sites that we have made. Studies have shown that “CRT
monitors use about 74 watts to display an all white web page, but only
uses 59 watts to display an all black page.” So if you use a a CRT
monitor, or even an LCD screen for your computer, Use Powersearch.
Google uses could save $74k per year by having a black background
instead of a white.

So do your part for the earth and help reduce global warming. Every
little bit helps.

To use powersearch, visit http://www.powersearch.co.nr or search.jicola.com for
this power saving service. This service is powered by the most popular
search engine, so you’ll still get great results.

I have made many sites, and i always want to know how many visitors i
get, where they came from, how long the stayed etc, etc.

I am currently using a couple of of services. 3 from Google and
awestats that is provided with my hosting plan.

The Google services are Google Adsense. This is great for making money through ads, and it also
provides how many page views you get, and search terms if you use Google Adsense search.

The other Google service is Google Webmaster Tools.
This provides basic information about how your site is ranking in a
Google search, Web crawl, Mobile crawl and Content Analysis. It also
provides you with statistics of Top Search queries, What the Google Bot
sees, Crawl stats, Index Stats and Subscriber stats. It provides an
overview of pages with internal and external links and provides and
analysis of you site map. (i use Google Site Map Generator which is provides by script socket and that
works quite a treat.

The final and best one for Google is Google Analytics. Now this
provides you with maps of where your visitors came from, traffic
sources, how long they’ve been to your site, what pages they’ve
visited, the OS and browsers, where they came from, what they searched
to reach your site and plenty more. It’s a must have for every site.

Awestats is similar, provides a one page of details including pretty
much what Google Analytics uses including IP address, what time they
visited, how long the stayed, how did they find you and more. It handy
if your web host provides it.

My recommendation is Google Analytics, Awestats and then Google Web
Master Tools. To make a put of cash, through in Google AdSense.

The worst has come. Google closing the referral of Google adsense
products in the next coming weeks.

On the official google adsense blog, it states that google will not be
promoting their products through the referral system. “If you’re
outside of North America, Latin America, and Japan, AdSense referrals
will be retired.”

It shocking news. They say “We’ve found that this referral product has
not performed as well as we
had hoped in these regions. Again, please keep in mind that you can
still generate referrals for the other products listed under the
‘Referrals’ section of your AdSense Setup tab.”

“Soon, you’ll no longer see the option to create a referral button for
AdSense in your account, although existing buttons will display as
normal. This specific referral type will then be retired during the
last week of January”
http://adsense.blogspot.com/2008/01/upcoming-referrals-changes.html

So come on webmasters - remove your Google adsense products as you
don’t get anything for them now. Adverise someone else’s business.
