To have a successful online forum, your forum needs to be unique. A forum that can not be found elsewhere on the internet.
You must also have a target audience. A target audience are the people or groups of people you are targeting to. Whether it will be people in a particular country, suburb, area of interest or expertise.
If your forum is targeting technologist enthusiast, you definitely have to be unique so people will visit your site and not your competitors. You also need a niche. A little pocket or area of interest. For example, technology in a particular country or dedicated only to software or hardware or internet.
Once the above is established, you can then work on marketing your forum, create incentives for people to come back, give free stuff away such has gift cards or rewards for visiting and posting to your forum. Or even when users post a certain number of posts, they gain access to exclusive content on your site or forum that regular users do not have access too.
Start of small in your target niche, then expand as you grow. Make sure you post on your own forums, moderate carefully and reply to your visitors.
It is also good to set up forum rules so users know what they can and can’t do.
I hope that this has enlightened you and gave further information of how to have a successful forum.
To help save the environment, when you need to print Powerpoint slides out on paper, it is best to print 6 slides per page.
To do this, simple print like you normally would. Instead of clicking OK straight away, check the settings. Make sure under “Print What”, you change it to handouts and select 6 Slides per page. You can change it to something else if you wish, but usually, 6 slides is best.

Today I was asked to download Windows 7 RC to try out and have a play with, so I headed to Google and Searched for “Windows 7 RC Download” and clicked on the Microsoft Link. I had a bit of a read, selected the bit version I wanted and hit go. I signed in using my Windows Live ID and filled out the forms and I was shown my product key before clicking on the download link.
The download occurred in a Java applet. Once it was done, this is how you get multiple product keys (well it worked for me).
Just hit the download button again, a popup box for the download will show, close it, the original page you where will change to a different page then go back to the other page but this time with a new product key.
If you keep doing it, you will probably get multiple keys.
Has this worked for you? Post in our comments.
Since Episode 10 in Season 20 of The Simpsons, you may have noticed a slight change. They’re now in High Definition Widescreen with new open credits.
Just like the old opening credits, everyone watched the couch gags, and read what Bart Simpson wrote on the blackboard.
With the new opening credits, their are a few more things to look out for.
When the name The Simpsons is first shown, there is a bird that flies across the screen. See if you can guess which direction it fly’s.
The next thing to look out for is what Ralph Wiggum says when the head of the statue falls on him. Some of the things he says are: “It’s dark”, “hmmm” and “I see stars”.
After that, when the camera is moving towards the school, there is a Billboard that changes each episode. Here are some images of a few of them.
When you reach the school, the Blackboard is always good to read.
When Bart leaves the school on his skateboard, Barney may also say something. In S20E11, he says “hey” rather than burp.
One final thing that you have to listen for is the tune Lisa plays on her saxophone when leaving her school’s practice session.
So there are something’s you may want to look for in each opening credit.
So to finish, did you know that when Marge runs over Homer, she is on a mobile phone?
Have a look for yourself.
