A recent study from Professor Alain Lieury from University of Rennes in Brittany, France, conducted a study on four groups of ten year old children to see if you become smarter by using Nintendo brain game’s compared to conventional learning such as school and pen to paper.

The study has shown, that playing the Brain games doesn’t make much of a difference compared to the conventional styles of learning.

But even though it may not make a difference, children would rather play the computer games rather then doing work at school. Playing these brain games instead of playing first person shooters is at least constructive for children as at least they are learning something.
