This handy little Access plugin allows you to export your .mdb file to a Zoho online database. Zoho allows you to edit your database online and provides 3 types of access. Full access to the entire database, access only to the left hand column, and access only to forms and reports.

If you want your database available to the public, why not check out Zoho and upload your database for everyone to see (only if it suits). The only downside is that you can only share a database with two users for free, otherwise you need to choose a plan between $15 and $175 to share with unlimited users.

Microsoft is promoting the development and release of the new Microsoft Office 2010 suit in a different way then before. They have been making move trailers.

A few months back their was a teaser trailer promoting Office 2010: The Movie. Now the trailer of the movie is now out, and you can view it below.

The new Green PC out by Medion, the Medion Akoya Nettop-PC E2010D with the 18.5 inch LCD TFT Monitor E53002D included, is going to hit the shelves in Australia on Thursday 25th of June 2009.

The green beast, although I wouldn’t say very powerful since it only has an Intel® Atom™ 230 processor 1.6 GHz, 512 KB Cache, 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM, and 160 GB hard disk is for sale for $699AUD with a possible 50% Education Tax Refund, making the product around $350. The Nettop PC uses 50% less power consumption then a normal desktop PC as it only uses a maximum of 65 watts. Although I’d love to get my hands on this PC, I don’t see it fitting my needs.  The only people I see buying this product is people who don’t like laptops and regularly move to different places requiring a desktop PC.

If you love your stylish desktop PC’s and want to have a lot of space on your desk, this is a PC for you, but if you want performance and portability, you can find yourself a nice laptop. Although it will cost a bit more money, it will better suit your needs.

I don’t think that this computer will be successful in the market, but if you like a green, stylish, desktop PC, this is the one for you.

Checkmycolour is a useful web tool that will designers can use to test if their website design colours flow and match each other. But who says a automated program has the eye of a human? Some test sites show that websites that have a good design fail the test, but I think their a good design. Or is it just me?

It’s pretty much industry standard to track your website visitors through Google Analytics, but there is an alternative, or possibility to make sure that Google Analytics is telling the truth.

Clicky Web Analytics is very similar to Google Analytics, and I have to say, I am quite impressed with Clicky’s Web Statistics. One advantage that Clicky has over Analytics is that it tells who who is only at that given time through the visitors log. It gives you the time, IP address where the visitor is from, the operating and browser that their using, including the site that they visit.

Clicky’s first impression astonished me. It has a clear layout, it’s easy to navigate and the results are excellent. I am going to continue using Click to get a better idea of who is visiting this blog in much greater detail then what Google Analytics provides.
