So far there are not many bad reviews of Microsoft’s new Operating System Windows 7.
Many people are also tempted to use the BETA version as their Default OS, and to do so, it is good if you can remove the desktop watermark and the “Send feedback” links. And here’s how to do so.
- Open up the Registry Editor, or type ‘regedit’ in the start menu’s run command.
- Find the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
- If it’s not there, add a new DWORD (32-bit) value “FeedbackToolEnabled” and set the data field to 0
- Restart your computer and it should be gone.
To remove the desktop watermark, run this tool. (Works only with Windows 7 Build 7000 (BETA 1))
