Recording Audio Steam of the internet

Listen with webreader

It has come to mind that people want to record audio streams off the
internet. This can be a radio show, music, or a msn or VoIp call.

To do this, I would recommend to use Audacity.
Audacity can record, import music (live or
pre-recorded) and you can edit music, change pitch, add effects and much
more. You can make a track intro longer, fade two songs together and
much more to edit music. It is very useful to record online audio.

All you have to do is setup the audio input and hit record.

Another program i would recommend is Vista’s inbuilt sound recorder. All
this does it record audio, but it is still useful. If you want, you can
edit it with Audacity.

Has anyone checked out FlyTunes? I read online that it gives you Internet radio, but it uses your iPhone or iPod touch. It’s supposed to be available for other pmps soon & it’s free.

Winamp also gives you internet radio, and you can record the stream directly to your hard drive by using one of the inbuilt plugins.
